ARA FEST

We have been implementing the Festival of Romani Culture Ara Fest in Pilsen since 2017. Its creation was a reaction to the absence of Romani culture, where a massive society of people of Romani origin lives. The festival always takes place at the beginning of the summer holidays and is spread over three days. We want to provide visitors who are not only Roma the most profound insight into different parts of the world of contemporary Romani culture. So it is a multi-genre festival - the program is primarily traditional and modern Romani music, theater, film, dance, workshops, and a children's program.
